Project terms

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms apply to every project you order from Lumoir ("we", "us"). Your quote sets out what we make, the price and the dates. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote wins.

1. Before you pay

For a video, we first write the script and design style frames (the look of the key moments) with you. This costs nothing. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing; the script and style frames stay ours and are not licensed for use.

2. Price and payment

3. What’s included

Your quote lists the deliverables (length, aspect ratios, formats), the rounds of changes and the schedule. Project files (After Effects and similar) are not included unless the quote says so.

4. Changes

5. Schedule

Working days count from the day the deposit is paid and we have what we need from you: product access or screenshots, your logo and brand colours. Please send each round of feedback within 5 working days; time spent waiting is added to the schedule. If we hear nothing for 30 days, we pause the project and let you know. You can pick it up again within 90 days at no cost; after that we close it, and the deposit covers the work done.

6. What you send us

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us (logos, screenshots, footage, fonts, copy) and that it can appear in the video.

7. Rights

8. Showing the work

Once your launch is out (or the video is public), we may show the video in our portfolio and on our social channels, credited to your product. If it needs to stay private, tell us before we start and we’ll keep it out of public view.

9. Confidentiality

Anything you share about unreleased products stays confidential and is used only for your project.

10. Cancelling and refunds

11. Liability

We check every video carefully before delivery. Our total liability for a project is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If something goes wrong, we’ll first try to sort it out with you by email.

13. Agreeing to these terms

You accept these terms when you reply “Approved” to your quote, or when you pay the first invoice.
